aaahhhh my favourite place, ive been spoiled cos chams in birmingham was my first club, and what a club to go to for your first experience.

really chilled, relaxed place, even the car park attendant is bloody gorgeous lol

very good mix of people, bloody rabbit warren too, but if i lived nearer i'd be there all the time

I visited the Darlaston premises of Chameleons for the second time with a friend on the 25th January - Bi Night as it was a Monday. One of Chameleons little "secrets" are the in-house hotel rooms which I can thoroughly recommend. For £35 a night (more Friday and Saturday) you get a double bed room with tea/coffee making facilities, a wet room type shower/toilet/wash basin, breakfast delivered to your room at an agreed time and secure inside parking for your car. You do have vacate your room by 10.00am though.
At reception, you get your locker key and drinks ID tab. You walk into the bar/social area where you own alkyhole will be stored and where you can get soft/hot drinks and a range of food too. The club is arranged over three floors, the exact layout somewhat confuddled in my mind. There is the single male changing rooms on the ground floor with the couples changing rooms on the next. There are two large jaccuzzi`s on the ground floor, a sauna somewhere else, a decent smokers area, cinema room which can get quite hot and stuffy, an orgy room with T.V.s showing the usual somewhat lame porn, as well as several lockable playrooms.
Sadly on my last visit, the club was somewhat quiet and both jaccuzzis were dissappointingly cool. There is little more to improve this very well run recommended club, apart from the afore mentioned cold zaccuzzis.

But there are some VERY decently priced hotels within a 5 min can journey too...

I never knew that! Bastards! I guess they're fully booked months in advance though...

But there are some VERY decently priced hotels within a 5 min can journey too...

They are listed somewhere on the website! Of the two times we`ve used them there was still rooms to spare! The great thing is that you could virtually go back to your hotel room naked without stepping outside of the building!

Edited to say that they now have been forced to charge for the rooms at time of reservation because so many people have reserved a room and then not turned up Typical! You give people a decent facility at a good price and they spoil it like this!

Just thought I`d add that the breakfast provided isn`t a lot - just a sandwich and an orange juice so don`t go expecting a full english! At least it`s better than nothing!

I went to Birmingham one about 4 months ago and upon visit was totally "gobsmacked" at an 80year old couple going in before me.. it put a damper on the whole night has to be said

that and having a few 50+ men following me about like lapdogs wasn't great... next time i go it will be on a bi night

The title of this thread may confuse those not in the know.
Sadly, the Barsley club was destroyed by a fire that started in one of the other buildings in the same block as the club. I don`t know when they expect the club to re-open if it`s ever going to do so.
I suppose the closest alternatives would be either A&Gs at Huddersfield or Le Chambre in Sheffield.

Swinging is not just for the under 40's - 80 year old couple, bloody good on them, beats the bingo i guess

Single guys following you around, mmm yeah ive had this a lot, but i guess its just one of them isnt it - you have to learn to brush them off, i used to be embarrassed about doing it but now it doesnt bother me, i just move their hand away. It can be very unnerving though, some people just dont get the hint

Chams feels like my second home, in fact me and Craig have been asked to start paying the mortgage

Its great though, even though we have been loads of times, it was still great to find that dark room with the circular bed in it - oh happy days
